Hey there! If you read my last post, I thank you. I know it was long but I needed to get it off my chest as well as share with you all why I've been absent around here as well as provide you with my very own public service announcement, haha. If you haven't read it, please see my last post entitled Strength.
Today I am sharing Kellie Stamps latest digital releases for April. I made the cards and pages below using the RAD set. I absolutely love this set and am so happy to have it in digital. This set was introduced as a clear set a few years back before I was on the creative team and it was one of the first sets I purchased from her shop. So, they're near and dear to my heart. Yes, I get sentimental over stamp sets ;)
I used the digital stamps from the set to make several of the pocket page cards. I stamped directly onto the photo above with the picture of shoes. I had already printed that photo, which is from my first chemo treatment, and I wanted to include it but didn't want to print out another one, so I used the clear stamp view from where I stand. I used the lines in the photo to line up the stamp and added a chipboard geo tag as well.
I made the three pocket page cards above, on the right. The center two cards are from the RAD set and the XOXO is from last month's pre-order release, AM to PM and is still available in the shop. The card on the left is from a digital set I purchased last year from Sue at themakingtable.blogspot.com.
All four of the cards above were made with the digital stamp set. Love them!
Here is a bit of a close up of the cards so you can see a little more clearly the type of things you can make with digital stamps. I think one of my favorite techniques is to repeat a sentiment over and over so in the end I have a pattern of sorts. I did just that with the + and made a border around the card and added journaling inside the border and then again with the YOU ROCK stamp to make a filler card.
The other digital stamp set available this month is COFFEE. There are some examples of it here when I used the clear stamps on a page I made last year. And by all means, please go check out the shop to see all of the sentiments and graphics included with these two sets. I think you'll love them!
Until next time, have a good one :)
