Hello there! I realize I mentioned that I'd be sharing my Project Life pages from the 4th of July but I guess I was telling tales, haha. Instead, today I am sharing the week before the 4th, well because, it was an awfully good week and were able to get out and have some fun!
So I decided to start with this week. When I'm working on something, I often take photos (no surprise there!) of my projects before they are even completed. I typically start and stop projects and work a little here and there, and having a photo helps me when I'm in the zone but don't have the time to finish the project right then. Here's my latest work in progress.
Having the picture on my phone lets me look at my page and mull it over when it's not in front of me. It really helps me to remember what it looks like and perhaps see some changes that I'd like to make.
I stamped above the photo using the Outline It alpha from Kellie Stamps and then used the "Is My Jam" stamp from her newest release On Fleek! The card here is from a photo I printed using the Collect App. The card design is called Vibrant and seems to be my go to design. I love the way this turned out.
If you saw my post about a week ago when I shared some cards I made with the new releases, the card below is one of those cards. I changed it up a bit and added a more neutral ink color using the label stamp that came with the Coffee set. I really love being able to do that when I make my own 3x4 cards using Kellie's awesome stamp designs :)
Here is the left side of the Project Life® spread:
I made a few changes from my original photo but nothing major.
I stamped "Happy Hour" using the stamp from Kellie's Brunch set onto the photo of my yummy Arnold Palmer, sans the vodka or bourbon. Because let's be honest, happy hour occurs around dinner time, and it's the time I could most use it but it's also the least likely time that I get to enjoy an alcoholic beverage. The kids are running around and I'm usually trying to prep a meal :)
I made the card above using a few stamps from On Fleek and the Outline It alpha. This alpha is a great size for 3x4 cards and I use it a lot. I used a Hero Arts ombre ink pad on it. It's new to me so I'm still practicing with it here in the orange and yellow but I love how it turned out! The arrows are from the Today set release from a few months back. I'm really digging how it looks.
Here is the completed right side.
Here are the pages side by side. June 22 through 28, 2015 is in the books. This in no way means that I am up to date with my 2015 album. I jump around a bit and work on what I am most excited about first.
And I was most excited to work on this page first because we had a great week filled with good weather and lots of summer fun. All in all, it was a good week.
As always, thank you so much for reading. See you back here next time!
